At last Saturday’s PlanCheckNC meeting Phyllis Nathanson from the LA City Planning Department, Code Studies, presented an informative update for Neighborhood Council land use committees. Here is a link to the power point and the Revised Proposed MPD Ordinance. We recommend you agendize these items at your next Land Use Committee meeting and review and comment. Follow up on the brief report given at the 11-8-14 PlanCheckNC meeting. The LA Curbed article contains a map that shows where Lamar Advertising would like to install 45 new digital billboards and discusses the recent Superior Court ruling that challenges the validity of the City’s 2002 sign ordinance and ban on new billboards (which Lamar’s digital signs would be).
