Mobility Plan – New policies and changes for your review/comment

The Department of City Planning has released a Recirculated Draft Environmental Impact Report (RDEIR) and updated Mobility Plan. The Plan reflects three new policies and minor changes recommended at Planning Commission on November 20, 2014. The RDEIR incorporates project revisions and additional analysis in response to comments received on the Draft EIR released last year (further details can be found in the Notice of Availability). The Notice of Availability, Recirculated Draft EIR, and Plan are available to view at: la2b.org/documents. The public comment period is February 19 – April 6, 2015.

It is important to note that the comments already received on the Draft EIR will be responded to in the Final EIR.  Therefore, if reviewers have the same comments on the Recirculated Draft EIR as they had on the Draft EIR, they need not submit the same comments on the Recirculated Draft EIR, as the comments will be addressed in the Final EIR.

Schedule Updates:

The Mobility Plan is scheduled to present at City Planning Commission (CPC) for a final time on May 14th with the Final EIR.  Prior to that on March 12th, staff will be discussing the Plan’s 5 Year Implementation Strategy at CPC. Stay tuned for future updates!
