ADU Ordinance – Back at City Planning Commission

Please note that the City’s proposed Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) ordinance is set to be re-considered by the City Planning Commission (CPC) at their July 12, 2018 meeting. The item was previously heard at a CPC public hearing on December 15, 2016 and has subsequently been in considered by the City Council.

The hearing notice and an updated FAQ has also been attached for your information. For more information, you can track the ordinance at this Council File, including the PLUM Committee’s final action here.

You can find the old December 2016 staff report as well as an May 2018 ordinance on the Department’s web site under Proposed Ordinances. An updated proposed ordinance and new staff recommendation report will be out shortly on the same web site.
