| The Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) has enhanced PermitLA to include Energy Storage Systems (ESS) up to 10KW, standalone or paired with a solar photovoltaic (PV) system. This enhancement will expedite the permitting process for solar PV systems.
