Would you like an overview of the basic elements of the City’s planning and development process? Sign up for one of City Planning’s Planning 101 online training sessions. You will receive a general overview of the core functions of planning in Los Angeles to better understand how land use policies are created and implemented. The Project Planning training will highlight how projects are reviewed and will walk attendees through each step of the development review process―beginning with the submission of a project application at the public counter and ending with the approval of a building permit.
