The Program will include an overview of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) the CEQA process, how the City of Los Angeles implements CEQA, the requirements and opportunities for public involvement and the relationship of CEQA to land use entitlements.

The Program will offer participants the opportunity to question CEQA practitioners in the ways that communities can best use the CEQA process to their benefit, which strategies help your cause and which do not. You will hear how to provide input to the City and take the concepts back to your individual neighborhood councils.
