Update:  The City Planning Commission approved the proposed Backyard Beekeeping Ordinance provisions at their regular meeting yesterday, and has recommended to the City Council that it adopt the hillside regulations as shown on Appendix A of the Staff Report (http://planning.lacity.org/Code_Studies/beekeeping/StaffReport.pdf. The City Planning Commission hearing for the Mobility Plan and its FEIR will be Thursday, 5/28/15 (and NOT 5/14/15). The 5/28/15 meeting will be held at the Van Nuys City Hall.
