Unapproved Dwelling Units — update

Neighborhood Council stakeholders, Please find the attached Staff Recommendation Report from the Department of City Planning regarding the proposed Unapproved Dwelling Unit (UDU) ordinance (CF 14-1150). The ordinance would create a new process to grant legal status to certain existing unapproved dwelling units located in multi-family zones when dedicated affordable housing is being provided on site and other performance standards are met.
