The City Council will be voting on Draft #3 of CHIP/Housing Element on Tuesday, December 10 @ 10:00 a.m. in City Hall.  This is the moment we have all been working toward.  If this is passed by the City Council the Ordinance will then head to the State for certification.  

We hope many of you can join us downtown on Tuesday.  Although council members rarely listen to public comment, we feel it is important to have a presence there.  They do take online public comment so we hope those of you unable to join us will at least call in.  City Hall is located at 200 N Spring St.  Parking is available at: 225 N Los Angeles St (LA  Mall Garage) level P1 $17 per day (closes at 6:00p.m.)  or LADOT Parking lot at 101 Judge John Aliso St, LA 90012.

The council file has a lot of neighborhood council community impact statements, HOA statements and letters from individuals. We have all reached out to our councilmembers.  Now we see how effective our outreach has been. We encourage Neighborhood Councils to read their Impact Statements on Tuesday.
