Most recently, on Tuesday, June 30, Metro held a live, interactive webinar to discuss Metro’s Draft 2020 LRTP. During the webinar, Metro provided details of the Plan and gave attendees an opportunity to ask questions of Metro’s transportation experts. The document details how Metro plans and builds, manages and maintains the transportation system, and explains how Metro partners to deliver on promises made to the residents and visitors to the region. In brief, the Draft 2020 Long Range Transportation Plan (2020 LRTP) features Metro’s efforts to add more than 100 miles of rail over the next 30 years, the largest transit expansion plan in the nation.
