Letter of Determination Now Available for Commercial Cannabis Signage Ordinance (CPC-2017-4546-CA)
Dear Interested Parties,
The Department of City Planning has prepared the Letter of Determination for the proposed Commercial Cannabis Signage Ordinance (CPC-2017-4546-CA). On December 21, 2017, the City Planning Commission recommended that the City Council adopt the proposed ordinance. The Letter of Determination serves as an official record of the Commission’s action and includes the text of the proposed ordinance as amended by the Commission. The Letter of Determination is attached to this message.
The ordinance will be considered next by the Rules, Elections and Intergovernmental Relations (Rules) Committee of the City Council. The date of the hearing has not yet been determined. There are still several steps remaining in the adoption process, including:
- Consideration of the ordinance by the City Council’s Rules Committee;
- Consideration of the Committee’s recommendations by the full City Council;
- Formal drafting of the ordinance by the City Attorney; and
- Adoption of the ordinance by the full City Council.
