December 11, 2010 PlanCheckNCLA program will feature: Downtown Renaissance
including
• Catalytic projects- LA Live/ Convention Center & Stadium, LA River/ Clean Tech corridor
• Civic Center Park & Park 101, Bringing Back Broadway
• Transportation connections- rail, streetcar, high speed train
• Residential – market rate and affordable. Adaptive reuse, Mills Act, historic preservation
• Creating jobs- obstacles, incentives and issues
• Creating great neighborhoods- Old Bank District, South Park, Arts District, Fashion District, Little Tokyo
• After lunch, we will go on a neighborhood walking tour.

Time Schedule: Meeting will start at 10:00 a.m. Menus from neighboring restaurants will be available so we can order lunch for delivery at about 11:30. Walking tour noon to 1 PM.
