We remind the community:  The legislature has passed and the Governor has signed the bills. They will effectively eliminate single-family zoning in California, while not requiring any affordable housing.  They do NOT contain an unconditional exemption fire zone areas, creating a significant public safety risk for the Palisades.  See the EC statement for more details about what the bills will do and what might be next steps to protect the community.
