Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Program Update Office Hours 6/28 and 6/30
LA City Planning and the LA Department of Transportation thank you for your interest in the proposed updates to the City’s Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Program. If you were not able to attend one of the webinars in early June, a recording will be postedonline in the coming weeks. Registration is now available for “Office Hours” appointments on Monday, June 28 and Wednesday, June 30. These Office Hours provide an opportunity to meet virtually one-on-one with the TDM project staff to discuss the proposed TDM Program. Office hours appointments are 15-45 minutes and will take place over the phone or through video conference, according to your preference. Please note that video conferencing will allow for materials to be shared via screen sharing. While you are encouraged to review the program materials on the Mobility website in advance, we welcome all participants, regardless of previous involvement in this TDM Program update. |

The proposed TDM Program update aims to sustainably meet transportation needs by requiring certain new development projects and substantial building expansions to incorporate TDM strategies such as supporting transit, telecommuting, walking, carshare, neighborhood shuttles, and other sustainable travel options that reduce vehicle trips. The draft TDM Ordinance, TDM Program Guidelines, and beta TDM Calculator are available for public review on the City Planning Mobility website, under “TDM Program Update.” In addition to the Office Hours in June, staff are available via phone and email, and an Open House and Public Hearing are planned for Fall 2021 in advance of a City Planning Commission hearing. Please sign up for email updates on our website and contact the Mobility team at planning.mobility@lacity.org or (213) 978-1342 with comments and questions. Staff welcomes all feedback and we want to hear from you!
We appreciate your continued engagement with Los Angeles City Planning and Los Angeles Department of Transportation.
