CEQA-related provisions amendment @ PLUM Oct. 30 – Item #13
An amendment that would add CEQA-related provisions to the Zoning Code was approved by the City Planning Commission (CPC) on August 23, 2018, and is scheduled to be considered by the City Council’s Planning and Land Use Management (PLUM) Committee on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m., and will take place in Room 340, City Hall, 200 North Spring Street; this Code amendment is Item No. 13 on the agenda.

Additional information can be viewed in the Council File – CF 18-0066, which includes the letter of determination by the CPC and a follow-up letter from the Department of City Planning recommending changes to the ordinance with respect to improper segmentation of projects, provisions for stays on project approvals when a CEQA appeal is under consideration by the City Council, and technical modifications to bring the ordinance into compliance with state law.
