B.  California Environmental Quality Act –The What and How for Land Use Committees  — Marlene Savage, Moderator, PlanCheckNC Steering Committee

Dean Wallraff, Attorney at Law, Executive Director, Advocates for the Environment, will provide an overview of CEQA statutes and guidelines and a discussion of CEQA trends and recent CEQA legislation.

Dean C. Sherer, AICP SP ENV, is a CEQA practitioner and chair of a local NC land use committee.  He will provide an overview of approaches to CEQA from a land use committee member perspective.
