TThe Truck Gardening ordinance [CPC-2010-0445-CA; CEQA: ENV-2010-0446-CE] will be presented at the Regular Meeting of the City Planning Commission on THURSDAY, MARCH 25, 2010, 8:30 A.M. at VAN NUYS CITY HALL, COUNCIL CHAMBER, 2ND FLOOR, 14410 SYLVAN STREET, VAN NUYS, CALIFORNIA 91401

The proposed ordinance amending Sections 12.03, 12.04.09, 12.05, 12.06, 12.07, 12.07.01, 12.07.1, 12.08, 12.09.3 and 12.17.5 of the Los Angeles Municipal Code (LAMC) to clarify permitted truck gardening and farming uses in each zone, and create consistency between home occupation conditions and standards and truck gardening operations.



Requested Actions:


1. Adopt the staff report as the Commission’s report on the subject.


2. Adopt the associated findings.


3. Consider the General Exemption as the CEQA clearance on subject ENV-2010-0446-CE.


4. Approve the proposed ordinance and recommend its adoption by the City Council.
