There is more information re: this ordinance that may apply differently to each Neighborhood Council.

**The Mural Ordinance is scheduled to be at the City Council’s Planning and Land Use Management Committee (PLUM) Meeting on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. The Meeting will be held in the Board of Public Works Edward R. Roybal Hearing Room, room 350 in City Hall, 200 N. Spring Street, and is scheduled to begin at 2:30 PM. At that time, there will be a public hearing on the item.

Hello All,

The mural staff report and ordinance that is scheduled to be heard by the City Planning Commission at its July 12, 2012 meeting in downtown City Hall is now posted on the City Planning website at: — Click on What’s New.   As proposed, the ordinance will allow for the creation and preservation of Original Art Murals and Public Art Installations on private property.  Feel free to contact me with any questions.
