Farmer’s Markets Ordinance & Staff Report

The farmers’ markets ordinance and staff report for the September 22, 2011 City Planning Commission meeting in the Valley (the staff hearing was held on July 20, 2011) can be found here:   CPC-2011-1300-CA_Report

Below is a summary of the ordinance:

A proposed ordinance amending Sections 12.24 and 14.00 of the Los Angeles Municipal Code (LAMC) to allow farmers’ markets through the Further Authority of the Zoning Administrator in all residential zones and as a Public Benefit project in the agricultural, commercial, manufacturing, and parking zones, with performance standards to preserve neighborhood character.

RPD Districts Regulations

PD_Districts_HearingNotice for a “staff hearing” for a proposed code amendment to revise the existing Residential Planned Development “RPD” Districts regulations (last updated in 1971) to enable innovative, mixed-use, and infill development projects as planned developments in the City of LA.

This is the third draft ordinance of the Code Simplification bundle of projects.  The staff hearing (not CPC) will be in Room 1070 of City Hall on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 1 pm.  The final day to submit comments is November 7, 2011.
